SLAY DUGGEE are on a mission to give kids their first taste of metal. These five heavy metal dogs from Essex transform saccharine kids’ songs, TV theme tunes and nursery ear-worms into full power metal songs.
Only 48 hours after forming in early 2018, Steve Lamacq played their single ‘Stick’ on BBC Radio 6 Music and dubbed SLAY DUGGEE the ‘Lords of Toddler Metal.’
One year later, fuelled by a viral cover of ‘Baby Shark’, the band have had over 28 million video views.
